This monument will use a kind of polarizing magnet beneath the surface of the square to attract natural materials such as leaves, pollen, combs, into changing shapes and silhouettes. These colorful forms will act as great fields compromised of many parts, echoing the importance of solidarity and cooperation in women’s and all human rights movements. The powerful force of this magnet will essentially draw the leaves and pollen from the rest of the square, leaving it pristine, too pristine, drawing attention to the antiquated and even ghostly nature of the other monuments, and the physical/ideological infrastructures that support them.
